One of
the first youth basketball camps in the United States designed exclusively to teach the
basic skills to the
true Rookie basketball player, preparing them for the future.
"In the last four drafts, 76 non-American players
were selected among the
240 spots available (32%), including 28 in the first round (23%). Six of the
24 players who played in February's NBA All-Star Game
were foreign-born.
Those staggering figures, some say, celebrate the reinvention of the game internationally.
Others argue they are an embarrassing indictment of the USA's poolof talent,
which
is deep but often lacking in the fundamental skills of passing, shooting and dribbling".

The mission of Youth Rookie Camp is to teach the fundamental skills
of basketball at the right age to allow kids to be more competitive as
they develop as a player. This youth basketball camp is designed to
teach the 3 essential skills of
basketball for the younger player.
- Passing
- Catching and proper foot work
- Ball Handling
We will also teach
- Defensive
positioning and foot work
- Basketball concepts
- And most importantly how to have fun while learning
If your young basketball player
is skilled and has played in a number of basketball leagues they could still benefit from attending YRC.com. So often when
your young basketball player starts in his/her first or second basketball league fundamentals are lacking which take the fun
out of the game of basketball.
By
the conclusion of this youth basketball camp your young player will learn the fundamentals of basketball and the necessary
skills and training to form a solid foundation for the game of basketball.
The
training only starts here, we will leave the player will drills to allow them to continue to improve their game.
